Visit Scotland have recently accredited 15 members of the Scottish
Association of Farmers' Markets (SAFM ) as visitor attractions.
Both Ayr and Paisley were in the initial group that were inspected
and approved.

large flag has been supplied to each market to confirm that
approval status, it can be seen in the AFM /SAC farm shop at
Auchincruive, the photograph captures the occasion when a replica
was presented to Shoniad Kay by Howard Wilkinson of SAFM
A lso present were representatives of Visit Scotland ,SAC Auchincruive
,the Ayrshire Food Network and per chance a visiting group of
hotelliers and restauranteurs from the Scottish Borders region!
T he excellent farm shop is open from 10.00-16.00 tuesday to
friday ,with produce available from a wide variety of the Ayrshire
Farmers' Market members and other quality local suppliers.
A s well as having very convenient parking outside , and an
adjacent coffee facility, the shop also now has debit/credit
card facilities.
it is certainly well worth a visit !"
