Gass is a traditional hill farm and has been farmed by the Kay family since 1903.

The unit combines beef cattle with the native blackface sheep. Our beef is traditionally hung coming from the mature calves out of Abrdeen Angus cows served by Limousin bulls.

The sheep are very hardy and are naturally reared on the hill all year. The flavour from their meat is second to none.

All meat is suitable for home freezing and comes vacuum packed for a longer life.
